Privacy Policy for Lexicolor
Last updated: 13 August 2026
Lexicolor does not collect, store or share any personal information. It has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics, and no connection to the internet.
Information the app collects
None. Lexicolor asks for no personal information, and there is no way for you to give it any. The game is played entirely on your device by two people sharing it.
Information stored on your device
The app remembers your preferences so it can restore them next time you play:
- the dictionary language you selected (English or French);
- whether sound is switched on;
- the colour and symbol chosen by each player.
These settings are held in the app's own private storage on your device. They never leave it, they are not readable by other apps, and they are deleted when you uninstall Lexicolor.
The app cannot send data anywhere
Lexicolor does not request Android's INTERNET permission. The
operating system therefore prevents it from making any network connection at
all. Nothing can be transmitted off your device, by us or by anyone else.
No third-party tracking
There are no advertising networks, no analytics or crash-reporting services, and no social media components in Lexicolor. The open-source components it does use — for playing sounds, saving the settings above, and keeping the screen awake during a round — run locally and collect nothing.
Permissions
Lexicolor requests no Android permissions. It does not use the camera, microphone, location, contacts, files, or any other sensitive capability.
Children
Lexicolor is suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no information whatsoever, it collects nothing from children either.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the app changes how it handles information, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised before that version is released.
